Special People
On Saturday evening, two days removed from the gathering of family in lieu of
thanks, the sky unleashed its majestic tears. The thoughts of those attending an
event of athleticism and strength grazed pass me with solace; one might follow the
feeling.
Realizing we walk amongst others so similar in comparison, knowing the truth; most
we only to differ in color. One could formulate a slew of fairy tales culminating in
success. To that end I offer a tale of heart felt giving, one to another.
The Carolina Thunder is an organization built on the vision of a few, surrounded by
the efforts of many; stimulating success. From the smiles that welcome the fans at the
door, to the volunteers who give their time for the sake of growth; the picture is
beauty. The color of togetherness is often transparent; here is thanks to the supporters.
The success of business is based on those willing to pay the price of development. The
outcome of this venture has a foundation based on the value of possibilities. These
same possibilities have changed the course of communities for decades. Our community
has come to the aid of an organization standing on the support of belief; how can one
person say thank you enough.
To the workers who promote the same vision, one can't be gracious to you enough. To
the established who helped promote the vision with revenue, your sacrifice is better
than appreciated; it is cherished. To those who stand afar and visualize the impact
of development, know you too are valued.
The community has given an effort worthy of recognition; with the beneficiaries
grinning in delight. The community is present culture, pacing the way for the future.
The future arrives at the events with opportunistic eyes, and glowing hearts. They are
the beneficiaries of the work from those who are well thanked.
As the sky unleashed its majestic tears, light shined through a small crevice. Some
are sure to have seen the glimmer of hope. Hope only lasts as long as one will
continue to feed the vision of success. Maybe two of those in attendance saw the
passing light, for it is written that only two are needed to touch and agree.
